Ananya Chakraborty, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Analyst with the Climate Resilience Practice program at the World Resources Institute (WRI), India. Her research focuses on gender, inclusion, and human development for addressing pressing issues of our times such as climate change, food security, and migration. Her current research looks at climate smart agriculture (CSA) from a gendered perspective to find collaborative solutions that can foster equity and inclusion of women farmers across developing countries to build resilience and adapt to the impacts of climate change on agriculture.

Riana joined ADB in 2017 as Gender Consultant. Currently working as Social Development Officer (Gender) in ADB Indonesia Resident Mission. She has over 20 years of professional experience working on gender issues with international organizations, including UNESCO, UNIFEM, GIZ, The Asia Foundation.

Dristy provides technical assistance to governments, multilateral institutions, and NGOs in contextualizing and adopting the Graduation approach and economic inclusion programs worldwide. Her key areas of expertise include social protection, financial inclusion, and gender empowerment through sustainable livelihoods.

When one of the world’s longest running lockdowns began in the Philippines due to COVID-19, Marlowe’s team was tasked with ensuring the project’s 1,800 participants developed sustainable livelihoods and carved pathways out of extreme poverty when the project ended amidst one of our lifetime’s greatest shocks.

Nassreena Sampaco-Baddiri is Evaluation Specialist, Independent Evaluation Department at ADB. She was country director for IPA Philippines and was chief manager of its diverse portfolio of rigorous evaluations in livelihoods, financial inclusion and governance, among others. She has extensive experience working and leading in various government departments as well as policy research NGOs, and in the academe as Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Director IV Edmon B. Monteverde graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Manuel L. Quezon University. Prior to being appointed as the OIC-Director IV and National Program Manager of the Sustainable Livelihood Programon CY 2022, he worked with Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS).

Syed Hashemi is the Resource Person for Integrating the Graduation approach/economic inclusion into ADB Operations. 

Aude de Montesquiou is FinEquity Community of Practice Facilitator at CGAP. Aude worked at CGAP from 2005 to 2017, last as Financial Sector Development Specialist, leading CGAP’s Graduating the Poorest and Vulnerable Segments work. She oversaw the implementation of the CGAP-Ford Foundation Graduation Program, a global effort to understand how safety nets, livelihoods, and microfinance can be sequenced to create for the poorest out of extreme poverty in eight countries with an intensive research agenda and randomized impact evaluations in seven sites (Science, 2015).
