Nikita Gopal

Dr. Nikita Gopal is Principal Scientist & Head, Extension, Information & Statistics Division, at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT), Kochi, Kerala, India with over 27 years’ experience in fisheries.

She is a founding member, and currently the Chair, Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section (GAFS) of the Asian Fisheries Society (AFS). She is also Chair of the Asian Fisheries Social Science Research Network (AFSSRN) of the AFS. 

Tahira Rehman Gunjial

Gender Specialist with a Ph.D. in Sociology and specialization in Gender and Social Development with over 24 years of professional expertise in gender and social planning, development and management as a government counterpart as well as national consultant with the multilateral development banks (MDB) with primary focus on community-driven development, women's economic empowerment, and resilience specializing in gender mainstreaming, climate change, and sustainable development.

Advocacy Workshop to Address Gender Based Violence – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Systems Strengthening Program

On 30 October, ADB held an advocacy training session to address gender-based violence (GBV) for health professionals from 32 hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province to support health sector reforms under $100 Million KP Health Systems Strengthening Program.
