Nassreena S. Baddiri

Nassreena Sampaco-Baddiri is Evaluation Specialist, Independent Evaluation Department at ADB. She was country director for IPA Philippines and was chief manager of its diverse portfolio of rigorous evaluations in livelihoods, financial inclusion and governance, among others. She has extensive experience working and leading in various government departments as well as policy research NGOs, and in the academe as Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

10th OECD-AMRO-ADB/ADBI-ERIA Asian Regional Roundtable on Macroeconomic and Structural Policies

The OECD-AMRO-ADB/ADBI-ERIA Asian Regional Roundtable convened leading experts to discuss issues at the fore of recent economic developments in the region. Previous roundtables were held in Singapore, Manila, Tokyo, Jakarta, and most recently virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent topics have included US spillovers to Asian economies, financial reform and financial inclusion, digital transformation, supporting a green and inclusive recovery, and challenges to macroprudential and monetary policy.

Ellen Joyce Suficiencia

As the Director of the Financial Inclusion Group – Center for Learning and Inclusion Advocacy (CLIA) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Joyce is deeply involved in various initiatives to drive the BSP’s financial inclusion agenda forward. She handles policy development and advocacy work with a particular focus on inclusive digital finance, MSMEs, and agriculture financing.

Joyce joined the BSP more than 18 years ago as a Bank Examiner. Prior to her current assignment, she was involved in the strategic management and enterprise project management implementation of the BSP.

Giulia Zaratti

Giulia has extensive experience in financial inclusion, women’s economic empowerment, gender equality and sustainable development, acquired by working for various UN agencies, international organizations, governments and management consulting companies, such as the UN Capital Development Fund, the Asian Development Bank, the European Union and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Giulia is currently Financial Inclusion and Gender Consultant for the UNCDF Inclusive Digital Economy Practice.

Anshukant Taneja

Anshukant Taneja is Principal Investment Specialist at Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD), Asian Development Bank (ADB).  He leads the PSOD Microfinance Program that focuses on financial inclusion and helps microfinance institutions deepen their access to commercial finance. Before joining ADB, he worked as regional director of ratings at Standard & Poor’s in Singapore, and with ABN AMRO Bank in India.
