The Forum on Successful Project Design and Implementation focused on the theme “Rising to the Challenge of COVID-19 and Beyond”. The experience of project implementation frontliners and cases from the field set the stage for three days of virtual discussions and knowledge sharing.
The forum had three objectives: to shape, change, and reinforce the knowledge and behavior of participants in project design and implementation during the pandemic and beyond. Specifically, the Forum aimed to:
- to enhance the operational knowledge of participants by introducing the updated project operations guidelines for risk mitigation and adaptation during the pandemic as well as approaches to rebuilding project momentum;
- to share options for meeting the challenges under the New Normal based on the emerging practice in project design and implementation; and
- to strengthen cooperative problem-solving and peer learning through content and discussions of operational experience and expertise.
