Manoj Silwal is the Deputy Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority, which is the focal agency of the government of Nepal for planning and developing energy projects. He leads the Project Management Directorate that manages ADB-supported projects. He holds a master of science degree in power system engineering from the Institute of Engineering in Nepal and a bachelor of science in electrical and electronic engineering from the Kathmandu University. He has 30 years of experience in hydropower development and power transmission, including in the private sector in New Zealand.
