Laxmi Pant is the Safeguards Unit Chief and Procurement Manager of the Project Implementation Directorate of the Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Ltd. In Nepal. She was a state engineer for Nepal's Second and Third Small Town Water Supply and Sanitation Project and the Department of Water Supply and Sewerage. She also worked as an engineer in a private consulting firm. Ms. Pant is a member of the Nepal Engineering Council, Nepal Engineers Association, and Society of Public Health Engineers. She has a master of science degree in sustainable water sanitation health and development and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, both from the Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu.
