Felix Oku

Principal Safeguard Specialist, ADB

Felix Oku is a Principal Safeguard Specialist at the Front Office (OSOD) of OSFG with over 20yrs working experience. In his front office role, he coordinates functions such as safeguards portfolio monitoring and reporting, management led grievance and incident management, business process optimization, MFI working groups and knowledge management. Felix serves as the Health and Safety focal point on ADB assisted projects, and contributed to development of the ADB’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF 2024). Felix has led multiple training programs for ADB clients and borrowers including training programs on safeguards capacity building for contractors. 

Prior to joining ADB, Mr. Oku worked as a social and environmental safeguard specialist for the African Development Bank and the World Bank. He was also an international environmental and social due diligence consultant with WSP UK.
