Thuy Tran Bich

Ms. Thuy Bich Tran is the Country Director of HelpAge International in Viet Nam. She has more than 25 years’ working experience in the development area and of those 20 years working in ageing. She is one of the founders of community based, appropriate, comprehensive, and affordable model in Viet Nam, so called Intergenerational Self-Help Club (ISHC), which promotes healthy and active ageing in Viet Nam, using intergenerational approach.

Peter Chan

Peter Chan is an Elder Care international consultant with the Asian Development Bank since 2014, and a Research Fellow of the Sau Po Centre of Ageing and Lecturer of the University of Hong Kong, China. He also holds the position of Deputy Director of the Institute of Ageing and Professor of the Beijing Normal University. Mr. Chan was the Chief Project Administrator of CADENZA – a Hong Kong Jockey Club Initiative for Seniors, which led to the establishment of the first primary care center for the elderly in Hong Kong, China.

Britta Monika Baer

Britta Monika Baer has worked with the World Health Organization since 2011, including the last four years as Technical Officer (gender, equity, human rights, and aging) in the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific in Manila, Philippines. She supported the development of the Regional Framework for Action on Ageing and Health in the Western Pacific (2014-2019) and its endorsement by the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific in 2013. Ayako Inagaki

Ayako Inagaki is the Senior Director of the Human and Social Development Sector Office, Sectors Department 3 at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She leads the Human and Social Development Sector Office in conceptualizing and delivering financial and technical assistance operations, and knowledge services in education, health and social development to ADB’s developing member countries, and in ensuring ADB’s technical leadership in the sector.

Meredith Wyse

Meredith Wyse is a Senior Social Development Specialist – Aging and Care, Human and Social Development Sector, Sectors Group at the Asian Development Bank.  She has nearly 20 years experience working in the Asia-Pacific region on issues related to adaptations to population aging and older persons working on programs related to social protection, community development, health and care and humanitarian response.  In her role she supports the ADB’s technical assistance programs and projects related to the development of long-term care services and systems across a diverse set of Asia

Chang Liu

Chang Liu, PhD, is Managing Director for ACCESS Health Greater China and Southeast Asia. He is responsible for the health and aging innovation platforms and leads the research and consulting work for the region. Chang Liu has authored a number of publications, including the Singapore overview for the International Profiles of Health Care Systems from 2017, published by The Commonwealth Fund and London School of Economics, and the epilogue to Affordable Excellence, which documents progress toward sustainable high-quality healthcare in Singapore. Frances Ng

Frances has more than ten years of global experience in health systems, predominantly within Australia, the Pacific, and the Middle East. Her most recent roles have involved providing comprehensive and specialist health consultancy services and advice to health authorities, other public sector agencies, and a range of public, private, and not-for-profit healthcare service providers and private investors.

Yohei Takahashi

Yohei Takahashi is Deputy Director of the General Affairs Division and Office for Dementia Policy, Health and Welfare Bureau for the Elderly of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in Japan. He focuses on policymaking and works on the longterm care insurance system of Japan. Mr. Takahashi is also engaged in conducting dementia policy and measures international collaboration to promote dementiafriendly communities in a global context.
