Lieke Visser

Ms Lieke Visser is the technical officer at the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WHO WPRO) working in the World Health Emergency (WHE) team, based in Manila, Philippines. She leads the WHO WPRO’s risk communication work and has been involved in the COVID-19 pandemic response as the pillar lead for Strategic Communications within the COVID-19 Incident Management Support Team (IMST).

Anna Biernat

Anna Biernat is Communication Officer with the WHO’s Regional Office for the Western Pacific, based in Manila, Philippines. In this role, Anna supports strategic communication activities and plans to achieve better health outcomes and impact within the Region. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Anna has also been actively involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the regional COVID-19 communications strategy, including leading the Strategic Communications Pillar as part of the regional COVID-19 Incident Management Support Team (IMST).

Tanja Kuchenmuller

Tanja Kuchenmüller, M.A., M.Sc, coordinates, leads and manages ad interim the Knowledge Management, Evidence and Research for Policy-Making unit (KER); Division of Information, Evidence, Research and Innovation (DIR) at the WHO Regional Office for Europe. DIR/KER has the mandate to support Member States in strengthening capacity for generating health research, following globally-accepted ethics principles, providing access to scientific knowledge and translating the best available evidence into policies and practice.

Ivan Ivanov

Dr. Ivan Ivanov is Team Leader of the WHO Global Occupational Health Programme in Geneva. He has the overall responsibility for the implementation of the WHO Global Plan of Action on Workers’ Health, and for collaboration with other internal technical programmes and outside partners. In addition, currently he carries out several technical projects; his project portfolio includes scaling up coverage with occupational health services, workers’ health in a green economy and climate change policies, as well as occupational diseases.

Helen Brown

Helen is the Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Impact Assessment in the School of Public Health at Curtin University. She has also held other leadership positions including Deputy Head of School and Director of Health, Safety and Environment. One of her key ambitions is to promote the use of HIA in the Asia Pacific Region and to develop and improve guidelines on HIA.
