Advocacy Workshop to Address Gender Based Violence – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Systems Strengthening Program

On 30 October, ADB held an advocacy training session to address gender-based violence (GBV) for health professionals from 32 hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province to support health sector reforms under $100 Million KP Health Systems Strengthening Program.

Piya Hanvoravongchai

Dr. Piya Hanvoravongchai is secretary general of the National Health Foundation in Bangkok, Thailand. Piya has been active in health policy and system research and health financing development in Thailand and regionally. He teaches health systems and health economics at Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Medicine. Before joining Chulalongkorn University, Piya was a Lecturer in Health Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a research associate at Harvard University Global Equity Initiative.
