David Morgado

David Morgado is a Senior Energy Specialist at the ADB since November 2021. He provides operational support to regional and private sector departments and contributes to knowledge work on emerging new technologies in the energy sector.

Prior to joining ADB, he was Senior Energy Policy Specialist at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). He was responsible for supporting the implementation of AIIB’s Energy Strategy, identifying investment opportunities, and assisting with project preparation.

Daniel Hersson

Daniel manages a multi-year program to support cleantech startups, accelerators and venture capital investors across Asia-Pacific. He has more than 18 years’ experience in the global energy and cleantech industry. Daniel is a recognized specialist in venture capital, strategy, startups, and innovation. Previously, he was Director of Strategy at BP Ventures, a leading global cleantech and energy-focused corporate venture capital fund. Daniel is also co-founder and venture partner at Infuse Ventures, India’s first early-stage cleantech venture capital fund.

Dan Frydman

After working in the industrial embedded software and electronics sector for several years, Dan entered micro-hydropower technology development on an Engineers Without Borders-UK placement in late 2016 working with SIBAT in the Philippines and in TONIBUNG in Malaysia. He currently supports Green Empowerment, TONIBUNG, and the Hydro Empowerment Network, developing open-source digital technology and training resources to advance local practitioners in South and Southeast Asia.

Clotilde Rossi di Schio di Schio

Clotilde Rossi di Schio is part of SEforALL policy team, where she works as Specialist in the Cooling for All and Energy and Transport initiatives. Prior to joining SEforALL, Clotilde has been working in the energy field for the private sector, part of McKinsey’s German office and Mitsubishi Heavy Industry’s Turboden spa. Until recently, she has been collaborating as Research Assistant with the SIPA Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University, where she researched space heating and cooling electrification.

Chih-Ting Lo

Chih-Ting Lo is an entrepreneur and founder of EELO Solutions. She works with large industrial organizations to develop and implement innovative energy and climate change programs around the world, focusing on people, processes, and technologies. She has extensive knowledge and experience in low carbon energy supply, energy efficiency, and energy storage technologies. In her 15+ years of experience, she has worked on projects in North America, Latin America, Africa, China and Asia.

Camilla Fenning

Camilla Fenning works for the British government as the Head of South East Asia’s Climate and Energy Network. Based at the British High Commission in Singapore, Camilla works with governments, businesses, NGOs, media and other organizations throughout South East Asia to advocate the UK’s ambition in the fight against climate change, and the need for a swift transition to low carbon. Her role includes providing support and encouragement through diplomacy, events, networks and development programming.

Cai-Wan Tam

Cai Wan Tam is Vice President, Grid Automation, Power Grids - Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines, ABB Singapore. Tam majored in Electrical Engineering in the University of Technology in Malaysia and has been working on the power system environment on the areas of engineering, project management for transmission and distribution utility since the early 2000s. She has twenty-six years of experience across the entire business P&L, commercial and operations leadership in the energy and power industry.

Bodha Raj Dhakal

Mr. Bodha Raj Dhakal has over two decades of professional experiences, engaged in the planning of rural electrification and distribution system, study, project preparation, feasibility study, determination of financing model and execution of those projects as a project manager. He is also responsible for Energy Efficient Initiatives and worked as the Project Manager for Design and implementation of a nationwide Energy efficient CFL program as a part of a Demand Side Management (DSM) program, aimed at reducing the evening system peak demand.

Bir Bahadur Ghale

Bir Bahadur Ghale has more than 25 years of experience in the micro/mini hydropower sector. He has also been awarded the Ashoka Fellowship (given to those who have excelled in Social Entrepreneurship). As a micro-hydro entrepreneur, he started his first Micro Hydropower (MHP) plant in Barpak (Gorkha) which generated 130kW of electricity. After his first project in Barpak, he started promoting awareness and social benefits of hydropower systems and so far, his contribution has electrified more than 4000 households. He also established the Hydro Energy Concern Pvt. Ltd.
