Haider Raza

Haider Raza, a Pakistani national, joined the World Bank in June 1999 and is currently leading the Country Procurement Team in Kathmandu, Nepal. His illustrious career spans over three decades, encompassing roles in research and development, procurement management, project management, construction/contract management, and dispute resolution. Haider's journey with the World Bank began in Colombo, where he served as the Country Focal Person (Procurement) covering Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Shambhu Prasad Uprety

Shambhu Uprety is a civil engineer by education with an M.Sc. degree in highways. He has been working as a World Bank staff since 2009 as a Sr. Procurement Specialist. He has supported all sectors (transport, energy, water/irrigation, agriculture, health, education, social safety/protection, governance, procurement reforms, etc.) for procurement management under Bank-financed projects. He was a co-team leader for the Integrated PFM Reform Project, which had a procurement component. He is also a Master Trainer on public procurement.

Rajan Bajracharya

Rajan Bajracharya has a unique blend of engineering and management experiences. He has working experience of 20 years, mainly using digital technologies to address some of the societal benefit areas to solve environmental and livelihood challenges in the region by simplifying complex scientific methodologies and closing the gap between theory and practices. Rajan is the founder of GeoKrishi initiative, Managing Director of Pathway Technologies P. Ltd.

Abhinav Raghuvanshi

Abhinav Raghuvanshi is now the Vice President of DeHaat. He's been an Associate Vice President for three (3) years of the same organization. 

He also co-founded the VezaMart from Sep 2016 - Mar 2019. 

Abhinav has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology and finished his Master's in Business and Administration at the Institute of Management at Nirma University.  

Anita Mahat

Anita Mahat Rana is an economist engaged in initiatives that foster economic growth, enterprise development, access to finance, and policy reform. She has a Master’s in Development Economics from the Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands and a Bachelor’s in Biology and Economics from Luther College, USA. Ms. Mahat Rana currently serves as an Economic Growth Specialist at USAID/Nepal.
