
Dan Millison is currently supporting ADB's technical assistance program for innovative high impact technology in energy sector operations. He has 35+ years professional experience including 20+ years on sustainable infrastructure investment programs. As a consultant and former senior energy specialist with Asian Development Bank, he has helped mobilize well over US$ 10 billion of climate-friendly investments including more than $1 Billion in co-financing from the Climate Investment Funds and the Green Climate Fund. Notable projects include combined-cycle and open cycle geothermal power, geothermal district heating, floating solar, advanced high-voltage transmission lines, energy storage, water-from air, electric vehicles, and rural renewable energy mini-grids. He previously worked in the environmental services industry and the upstream oil and gas industry. Mr. Millison has a degree in geological sciences and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering, both from Northwestern University in the US.
