5th International Conference on Eco-Compensation and Payments for Ecosystem Services 24 to 25 November 2016 China The 2016 international eco-compensation conference provided a platform for discussing innovations, developments, and lessons in implementing eco-compensation and payments for ecosystem services in the People’s Republic of China and other countries. Over 150 representatives from ADB developing member countries, international organizations, private sector, and academia attended the conference, which was jointly developed and sponsored by ADB, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the China Eco-compensation Policy Research Center.
