Vimlendra Sharan

Vimlendra Sharan is FAO Country Representative for Sri Lanka and Maldives. Sharan brings with him nearly three decades of national and international government leadership experience focusing on rural development, agriculture, and food security issues. As a member of the Indian Administrative Service, he has worked with the Indian Government extensively in rural and tribal areas of Maharashtra and has also been actively involved in agriculture and food policy formulation working with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in New Delhi.

Carlos Estévez Reyes

Works as an Economist at the Global Information and Early Warning System of FAO since 2018. He monitors food markets in West Africa, providing analyses that reflect the trends of food security at the national and subregional levels. He also participates in flagship publications such as the Global Report of Food Crisis and FAO/WFPs Hunger Hotspots Analysis.

Cristina Coslet

Works as an Economist at the Global Information and Early Warning System of FAO since 2012. She is responsible for monitoring the food supply/demand and food security situation in Asia and the Pacific, covering a vast set of 27 countries stretching from Pakistan to Papua New Guinea. She regularly contributes to a variety of FAO’s technical reports and publications and conducts country agricultural and market assessments.

Rashid Bajwa

Dr. Rashid Bajwa is the CEO of NRSP which is Pakistan’s largest rural development organization. NRSP was established in 1991 as a “not for profit company registered under Sec 42 of company’s ordinance with the SECP. He has successfully steered the organization to become the largest Not for Profit organization in Pakistan in terms of its outreach, client base and ability to manage funding for the rural poor.

Gilles Mettetal

Mr Mettetal is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Diligent Capital Partners, a Private Equity Fund also based in Ukraine. He is also a member of the supervisory board of Nibulon and of Astarta, two leading agribusiness companies in Ukraine. In addition he is a senior agribusiness advisor the Asian Development Banks and he has been advising the African Development Bank and  as well as for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).

Fabio Massimo Pallottini

Born in Rome on August 28, 1959. Graduated in Jurisprudence with economic address at the University La Sapienza of Rome.

Economist, expert in economic and territorial problems development, he has developed a consistent administrative and managerial experience.

Since 2014 he is the Managing Director of CAR Scpa, the company that built, owns and manages the Centro Agroalimentare Roma, the first Italian structure in the sector. In this capacity he is responsible for the management of the structure and ensures its productive and economic results.
