Marie L’Hostis is a Water Resources Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where she works on water resources management, irrigation, flood risk management, coastal protection, and dam projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, France (2010). 

Insan Syafaat joined PISAgro in January 2021. As Executive Director, he is responsible for overseeing the PISAgro Secretariat, planning its sustainable strategy, and ensuring the implementation of PISAgro’s vision and mission, with the support of several working groups and members.

Ganesh Pillai is a Consultant at ADB. He has been a Food & Agribusiness sector banker for the large part of his professional career, large part of it with Rabobank International. Presently he works with the Agribusiness Investments Team of ADB. In the early part of his career he had a stint each with the Farm Input businesses of the TATA and Godrej groups.

Dr. Lyndal Hugo is the co-founder of Orlar, an innovative Australian agritech company operating in both Australia and Vietnam. With a background in Agricultural Science and a PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Science from the University of Sydney, Dr. Hugo brings deep scientific insight to sustainable food systems in tropical and emerging economies. Her post-doctoral work focused on pesticide residues in the environment and food chains—a critical issue in regions where rapid growth and agriculture intersect.

Before FAO, Li He was working at the China Agricultural University as Associate Professor from the end of 2007 to the beginning of 2016. She has been working on water resources management, ecosystems, and biodiversity related works and projects.
