Agnes Surry

Agnes Surry joined the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) in September 2022 and is Deputy Head of Capacity Building and Training and Senior Economist.

Her areas of interest include development and public finance, aid effectiveness, climate change adaptation, gender equality, social policies, fiscal policies, public debt sustainability, resource mobilization, and country risk analysis.

Shantanu Mitra

Shantanu Mitra is a Development economist with strategic leadership and management experience. His specialties are economic policy, public finance, health economics, climate change, evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, international aid policy, programme, and people management.

Upasana Yadav

Upasana has been associated with CWAS since 2014. She has extensive experience in WASH and urban development sector. She leads CWAS’s work in implementation of city sanitation plans, WASH improvement planning tools and innovative financing mechanisms like development impact bonds and blended finance mechanism. She also has experience in water security, performance assessment systems, public finance and business models. She has a Masters in Planning (Housing) from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from MS University, Vadodara.

Tamar Tsiklauri

Tamar is a Project Analyst at ADB's Georgia Resident Mission. Prior to this, she works as a freelance at Business Developer for Fintech Companies. She also worked as Main Analyst, Project ManagerMain Analyst, Project Manager at Georgia Revenue Service. 

Tamar graduated from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies with a Master's Degree in Public Finance at GRIPS. 

 

Damitha Rathnayake

Ms. Damitha Rathnayake is the Acting General Manager/CEO of the Regional Development Bank (RDB), Sri Lanka while she is also the Additional Director General of the Treasury Operations Department of Ministry of Finance. She holds positions of Director of the Sir Lanka Petroleum Corporation, and Peoples Bank of Sri Lanka. She had served as Acting General Manager of National Savings Bank in the past.

Aman Trana

Ms. Aman Trana is the Director of the Public Financial Management Division of the Asian Development Bank’s Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD). She has more than 25 years of professional experience in financial management, financial reporting, auditing, and governance. Prior to joining ADB, Ms. Trana was a Senior Financial Governance Specialist with the IMF, and also worked with the World Bank as a Senior Public Financial Management Specialist.

Usha Saxena

Ms. Saxena joined National Informatics Centre, Government of India  in 1991 at the grass root level as District Informatics Officer. Since then has been involved in development and implementation of various eGovernance systems across the country.

 Usha  played an instrumental role in design development and widespread adoption of NIC eGP system, the Government eProcurement System of NIC, GePNIC © across India. NIC has also developed an eAuction system which caters to Forward and Reverse auctions of various kinds.

Mokuolu I. Adesina

Mr. Mokuolu Isaac Adesina is a procurement and IT professional with vast experience in both private and public sector that span over 16 years. He has been working with International Development Partners on Public Procurement Reform interventions at the federal level since 2008. He has been involved and led many innovative IT projects and digital procurement initiatives at the federal level in the public procurement sector in Nigeria.

Jenny Yan Yee Chu

Jenny Chu is a Procurement Specialist in ADB’s Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department. She is the procurement focal for South Pacific countries, and she leads the work on mainstreaming sustainable procurement and strengthening the environment, health and safety requirements in ADB procurement documents. Ms. Chu is a chartered professional engineer and an admitted barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. She has over ten years of experience in project planning, design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

 

Gilberto Llanto

Gilberto Llanto was formerly the President of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), and currently is a member of PIDS' Board of Trustees. He previously served as the Deputy Director-General of the National Economic and Development Authority, Vice-President of PIDS, and Executive Director (with the rank of Assistant Secretary/Assistant Minister) of the Agricultural Credit Policy Council.
