Yoojung is a Social Development Specialist in South Asia DepartmentofADB and working on energy sector projects in terms of social safeguards and gender. She has 15years of professional experience in environmental and social management. Before joining ADB, she worked for the Export-Import Bank of Korea responsible for private sector projects’ environmental and social due diligence. She holds degrees in Civil and EnvironmentalEngineering and Business Administration from the Seoul National University, Korea and in Environmental Health from the KNOU, Korea.

Mohammad Alauddin is also Chairman of the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority. He was formerly the Deputy Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh. He holds a master's degree in Public Affairs from the Civil Service College of the University of Dhaka.

Zafar Sadeque has more than thirty-five years of experience in the power sector.

He is a retired member Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) where he worked for more than thirty-three years. BREB is a renowned distribution utility that serves more than 78% of Bangladesh's population. During this period, he worked with the electrical distribution network, development, implementation, Operation & Maintenance, Renewable Energy, Procurement, Supply Management and Contract Administration.
 

Since 2012, Ajay Guha has been an International Procurement Advisor at ADB, where he was a former Lead Energy Specialist. He is also currently an adjunct faculty at the Asian Institute of Management.

Having worked for a Japanese commercial bank, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Japanese Government, Mr. Shiihara joined the Asian Development Bank in September 2008. Since then, he has been involved in processing as well as administration of energy sector projects for such countries as Bhutan, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and Papua New Guinea, among others. 

Since January 2024, he has been designated as the Project Administration Unit Head, looking after administration of all energy sector projects from Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Robert is the Team Leader for the Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility. Prior to joining PRIF, Robert held a number of senior roles with the Asian Development Bank. He also spent four years as the Economic Infrastructure Adviser at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Fiji and served two years as a volunteer in the Solomon Islands.

Anthony Maxwell currently holds a position of Principal Energy Specialist in the Energy Transition Mechanism and Partnerships (ETMP) team at Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Dr. Aruna Kumuduni Wanniachchi was the Head of the Project Administration Unit of the Southeast Asia Energy Division of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Dr. Wanniachchi supported ADB’s energy sector operations in Southeast Asia and the GMS Regional Power Trade Coordination Committee activities. Prior to joining ADB, she worked with the Ceylon Electricity Board in Sri Lanka and served as a Technical Advisor for the United Nations Development Programme in Iraq. She has a total of 30 years of experience in the energy sector.
