Adrian Marsden

Adrian leads the infrastructure team in Arup’s Philippine office. Adrian’s professional background is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Water, and Environmental Manager and Member of the Association for Project Management. He graduated from Southampton University in the UK, with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He has worked on a range of water-related projects over the last 18 years. This started off with work in the office and on-site in the UK. It then moved onto work in Romania and more recently in the Philippines.

Aditya Sharma

Aditya leads the Asia strategic market development for, Boson Energy, in the role of Senior Vice President Asia. Aditya is passionate about solving energy challenges from local solid fuels, using solutions do not leave behind new challenges for future generations to solve. Aditya leads the development of strategic markets in Asia, introducing the technology for Plasma-Assisted Gasification of Municipal Solid Waste.

Adam Goff

Adam Goff is a principal at 8 Rivers Capital, a firm which invents and commercializes sustainable infrastructure technology. 8 Rivers invented the Allam Cycle and the NET Power joint venture that uses that technology. NET Power has raised over $150m from Exelon, McDermott, and Occidental Petroleum. Adam leads on business development for a number of 8 Rivers’ projects and is also Director of Policy for the firm. Adam has a degree from Yale University and was formerly Chief of Staff at ClearPath, a $165 million foundation that advances dispatchable clean energy.

Adam Aleksander

Dr. Adam Aleksander is a Mechanical and Industrial Engineer, with degrees from California State Univ. San Jose, Univ. of Colorado, and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M Univ. and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple States. During a career spanning 50 years, he has wide experience in material handling, process energy systems, biomass boilers and STG's, and investigative forensic engineering. Over the past 15 years, he has worked extensively in Asia, including the Philippines, Bangladesh, and most recently Indonesia in support of power energy projects.

Abhishek Ranjan

Abhishek Ranjan is the Additional Vice President and Head of Renewables, DSM & EE and Energy Analytics at BSES Rajdhani Power (BRPL) Limited, New Delhi. Abhishek has about two decades of experience in Power and Information Technology sectors in India. He started his career with Infosys Technologies Limited, an IT company based in India, where he worked on the development of enterprise applications for a major US utility and a technology MNC.

Aanchal Kumar

Aanchal Kumar is an officer at Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and a Future Energy Leader at the World Energy Council. She has over 8 years of experience in the field of sustainability and energy efficiency. She has been a pivotal member in the implementation of the globally-lauded Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All program. She has also worked on research studies in the field of clean energy in collaboration with the World Resource Institute, UNFCCC, World Bank, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and AEEE.

Sebastian Groh

Sebastian Groh is the Founder and CEO of SOLshare, a cleantech startup based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a 2013 Stanford Ignite Fellow from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds a PhD from Aalborg University and the Postgraduate School Microenergy Systems at the Technische Universität Berlin.

Ahmed Ali

Mr. Ali is currently the Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, Republic of Maldives. He is also the appointed board member of the SAARC Energy Centre since 2009. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Ali plays a crucial role in the planning and development of the Maldives energy sector. He was actively involved in formulating the Maldives energy policies and strategies including the Maldives National Energy Policy and Strategy and Maldives Scaling Up Renewable Energy Investment Plan.
