Alan Kendall Clark

Alan Clark is a Principal of Northwest Hydraulic Consultants and has over 30 years’ experience in preparing and implementing both small and large irrigation scheme developments in Asia and Africa as Team Leader and/ or irrigation specialist. He completed his MSc in Irrigation Engineering at Southampton University in 1985 and joined ICID in 1992. His expertise embraces water and energy efficiency of irrigation developments, risk assessments, operation and maintenance and sustainability aspects including potential roles of water users, private sector, and government.

Claire Charamnac

Claire Charamnac is a Social Development Specialist (Gender and Development) in the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department at the Asian Development Bank. In this role she focuses on gender and transport, health and water and urban development.

She has over a decade of experience in gender mainstreaming and implementing programs with a focus on women and girls. Prior to joining ADB, she worked for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the World Bank Group and Catholic Relief Services.

Rajeev Tyagi

Senior Railway officer Shri Rajeev Tyagi assumed charge as Director (Project) of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited on 10th May.

An IRSE official of 1989 batch, Rajeev Tyagi started his career as an Assistant Engineer at Katni (East), Madhya Pradesh and worked in areas of Track Modernisation. He has held multiple posts since then in Mumbai suburban system of Central Railway. He was instrumental in introducing various Track Machines in suburban system and also good maintenance practices.

Hikaru Shoji

Hikaru Shoji is the Unit Head of Portfolio Management Water and Urban Development Sector Office in ADB. He is a professional civil engineer specializing in water supply and sanitation, urban development, water resources development, and climate change adaptation. He led various development works as a staff of regional development banks, a non-governmental organization, and a consulting firm. He joined the organization on July 1, 2020, bringing over two decades of experience from Africa and Asia.

Lyndon DeSalvo

Lyndon works to advance NBS in cities and communities to maximize outcomes for people and nature. He leads efforts to implement and scale nature-based and green infrastructure projects that improve water quality and provide local communities with climate resilience and other co-benefits. He collaborates closely with government agencies and the water sector, including utilities, researchers, and policymakers. Lyndon is a city and environmental planner who can work at multiple scales, from watershed-wide planning to site-specific design.
