Roberta Casali

Roberta Casali is the Vice President, Finance and Risk Management at the Asian Development Bank. She has more than 30 years of executive experience in central banking and the financial sector. She held senior positions in the area of payment systems at the Bank of Italy, in both national and international roles. She also had significant private sector banking experience, including more than 10 years at leading Italian international banking group Intesa Sanpaolo SpA.

Annemieke Nijhof

Nijhof has extensive experience in the worlds of both government and business. As the Director-General of Water at the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management (now Infrastructure and Water Management), she was responsible for water policy in the Netherlands. She then turned her hand to a business career as the CEO of consultancy and engineering firm Tauw. Presently, she is figurehead Top Sector Water & Maritiem and chair of the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP).

Lorena Ramirez

Lorena is the project coordinator for ADB's project on risk financing solutions and transfer mechanisms to promote climate resilience for ecosystems (Output 4 of TA 6742-REG Building Coastal Resilience through Nature Based and Integrated Solutions in Asia and the Pacific). She was also the project manager of the ADB’s Knowledge Support and Technical Assistance Project on Strengthening Integrated Flood Risk Management (TA 9634-REG), in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Viet Nam.

Manjula Hettiarachchi

Md. Mafizur Rahman

Md. Mafizur Rahman is the Managing Director of the Small and Medium Industries Foundation. He is a Former Additional Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh. Md. Mafizur Rahman joined as the Managing Director (MD) of Small and Medium Industries Foundation (SMEF) on 28 December 2020. Prior to joining this post, he was the Director General of Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center (BITAC) from 27 February 2018 to 31 August 2020. Dr. Rahman was born on 01 September 1971 in an aristocratic Muslim family at Hijla upazila of Barisal district.

Anil Kumar Sharma

Anil Kumar Sharma is the Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India. Before taking over as ED, he was headed the Enforcement Department of Reserve Bank of India as Chief General Manager. He has done his Masters in Economics from Doaba College Jalandhar, Punjab and was UGC Fellow at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune before joining RBI in 1986. He holds a Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management and is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. His experience in the Bank lies in the area of management of currency and banking, rural credit, and supervision.

Artessa Saldivar-Sali

Artessa works in the East Asia & Pacific Region of the World Bank, where she leads a number of projects on disaster risk management, seismic risk reduction, and urban resilience. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2010, she worked in the Office of the President of the Philippines, and was also an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines.
