Manjula Hettiarachchi is the Additional Director General, Department of Development Finance, Ministry of Finance, Sri Lanka. In addition, he is covering the duties of the Chief Executive Officer, National Insurance Trust Fund Board. Further, he has been working as the Project Director of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Line of Credit Project (SMELoC) funded by the ADB.
He holds a Master Degree major in International Development Economics from International University of Japan and have obtained the B.Sc. Management Degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka. Further, two Post Graduate Diplomas have been obtained on Development Economics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and the Institute of Development Economics, Chiba, Japan. Further, he has obtained Intermediate Certificate of Banking Exam of the Institute of Banking Studies.
