Karen Grace Ochavo

Karen is an Environment Officer under the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department of the Asian Development Bank. Her current role supports the Regional Flyway Initiative, a large-scale transboundary program that seeks to mobilize investments to protect, restore, and sustainably manage a comprehensive network of threatened wetlands along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway of migratory waterbirds. Karen has combined work experience in environmental sustainability and safeguards, water resources, clean energy and climate finance sectors.

Antoine Morel

Antoine Morel is a Principal Environment Specialist with more than 20 years of work experience in environmental management, with a focus on assessing and addressing environmental sustainability issues of infrastructure projects in Asia. He joined ADB in 2010 where he coordinated the preparation and implementation of environmental impact assessments for ADB loans in sectors such as transport, energy, urban development, education and health. He leads the environmental safeguards group of ADB’s Southeast Asia Department.

Robert Steele

Robert Steele is Founder and Director of Systainability Asia (www.systainabilityasia.com), a Thailand based consultancy that works closely with national governments, NGOs, international agencies, private sector companies and education institutionsin the Asia-Pacific region to find solutions to sustainability challenges. Robert has a BSc. in geology and MSc. in natural resource management.

Charina Cabrido

Charina Cabrido is an environment professional with 15 years of combined experience in mainstreaming biodiversity, transport, environment and natural resources initiatives at policy, programming and implementation levels including resource mobilization and expansion of partnerships. Extensive experience in cross-cutting knowledge work to capture and disseminate findings and lessons from projects.

Carishma Gokhale-Welch

Carishma Gokhale-Welch is a Project Leader at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory. With nearly two decades of work experience in the U.S. and abroad, her work focuses on providing technical assistance to developing country governments with clean energy planning and strategy. Carishma also supports microgrid feasibility and techno-economic analyses, power sector transformation activities in Asia, energy resilience planning, and assists communities with energy transitions.

Glynda Bathan

Glynda Bathan is Deputy Executive Director of Clean Air Asia. She is a lawyer with over 16 years’ experience in air quality management. She was a member of the legal team assisting the Philippine Government in drafting the Clean Air Act of 1999 Implementing Rules and Regulations. She led the implementation of the Asia Clean Fuels and Vehicles program which resulted in national policies and roadmaps for cleaner fuels and vehicles.

The central wastewater treatment plant and master plan of the city, along with water and wastewater policies and laws, and projects for sewage facility improvement and investment are explained.
