Rossana Marie Amongo

Dr. Rossana Marie C. Amongo was appointed as the new Dean of the UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology during the 1361st UP Board of Regents meeting on Jun. 2, 2021. She is also the first female Dean in the history of CEAT.

Dr. Amongo is a Professor 6 at the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Power Engineering Division of the Institute of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (IABE-AMPED).

Emdadul Haque Chowdhury

Prof. Chowdhury currently has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh. Formerly he worked for the capacity building activities of BAU. Professionally Prof. Chowdhury is a teacher and working as Professor at BAU. He published over 200 scientific papers and has been awarded a number of professional awards. Prof. Chowdhury developed a national model to provide 'Doorstep Veterinary Service' at rural Bangladesh. Main expertise areas include pathobiology, food security and safety.

Shri Nilambuj Sharan

Shri Nilambuj Sharan is currently working as Senior Economic Advisor, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). He is Indian Economic Service officer of 1993 batch. He is in the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

During close to three decades as member of Indian Economic Service, served in various capacities in the Government of India in the erstwhile Planning Commission and Ministries of Social Justice & Empowerment, Food and Public Distribution and Health & Family Welfare.

Manuela Prina

Since 01 January 2020 she is the Head of Skills Identification and Development Unit, within the Knowledge Hub department of the ETF. As Head of Unit, Manuela is responsible for steering ETF’s work in the area of skills relevance and anticipation, development of skills and validation, leading the knowledge co-creation and sharing across ETF partner countries, with the EU and the international community.

Faisal Mueen Qamer

Faisal leads the food security and climate services related work at International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). He is responsible for framing geospatial information based approaches to support decision making process in the agriculture sector and also contribute in capacity building through close engagement with local, national, and international partners. His work spans across ICIMOD’s eight regional member countries, with special focus in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan.

André Taylor

Dr. Taylor is a leadership development specialist, leadership coach, water practitioner and sustainability practitioner. His professional purpose is to build the leadership capacity of enthusiastic, self-motivated people to help them drive positive change to create healthier communities and environments, whilst demonstrating values of integrity, sustainability, enabling others and continuous learning. He has worked in the water sector for most of his 30+ year career, and did his PhD research on leadership in the water sector.

Economists' Forum

Since 2019, the annual Asian Development Bank (ADB) Economists’ Forum has served as a platform for economists and staff to present and discuss original research, network, and learn cutting-edge techniques.

Tandin Gyem

Tandin Gyem is currently the Executive Engineer at the Department of National Properties of the Minister of Finance in Bhutan. She's been working under Procurement Management and Development Division (PMDD), Department of National Properties (DNP) since 2017 and is responsiblee for monitoring the implementation of procurement rules and regulations and carrying out studies/research to improve the procurement system (especially procurement of works).
