Wei-Shieun Ng

Dr. Wei-Shiuen Ng is Advisor on Sustainable Transport and Global Outreach in the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). She has a background in environmental science, transportation engineering and urban planning, and leads the development of transportation and climate change policy dialogue, gender research, and activities in Asia at the ITF.

The International Transport Forum (ITF) is expanding its work in the area of gender and transport and is developing a new gender analysis toolkit for transport policies for its member countries and beyond. Nadeen Madkour is an Egyptian national based in Sydney, Australia.

She is a research scientist working to better understand the role of race, gender, and peace in international development, particularly their application by Multilateral Development Banks. Her research interests cover a broad spectrum including the intersection of gender and development, postcolonial feminist theories, and the impact of neoliberalism on development and international political economy.
