Saroj Yakami

Saroj Yakami has worked over the past 10 years in water resource management covering water resources, agriculture, irrigation, and water harvesting. He has been involved as Country Manager in Nepal working on (i) water security, climate change, and community resilience; (ii) road water management and resilience; (iii) inclusion of people with disabilities in agriculture water management. He has been actively engaged in the development of the guidelines for Protecting and Developing Springs in local road development in hill and mountain areas of Nepal.

Ryan Kwang-bok Lee

Ryan Kwangbok Lee is a director in charge of operating K-City Network - the Korean government’s smart city development support program for overseas governments. He works at Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND) as director of program management, director of real estate investment, and currently as the head of research. Before he joined KIND, he worked in the private sector as East Africa regional director and Energy/ICT/ Infrastructure project manager at Samsung C&T Corporation.

So-young Iris You

So-young Iris You is a principal researcher of Innovative Transport Policy Division at Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI). Her research interests focus on advanced technology applications in public transportation systems engineering, including Super Bus Rapid Transit (S-BRT), On-demand Mobility Systems, and Planning for a User-friendly Transit Center. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to that, she was a researcher at the Korean Transportation Institute (KOTI).

Hyung-jin Joo

Hyung-jin Joo has been in the electronic vehicle (EV) charging business industry for over 10 years. He started the EV charging business in POSCO ICT Corp., a major ICT company in Korea and then spin-off to ChargEV corp. in 2019. His background is IT engineering and Energy Storage System business. Before joining POSCO ICT Corp., he worked at Alcatel-Lucent Corp.

Sue Park

Sue Park works at the international cooperation team in ITS Korea. She joined ITS Korea in 2009 as a member of the organizing committee of the 17th Busan ITS World Congress co-hosted by ITS Korea, where she was part of the program committee.

She has been working to promote Korean Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and to strengthen the international networks with overseas countries by hosting ITS events and knowledge-sharing workshops.

She obtained a master's degree in Urban and Transportation Engineering from Kongju National University in 2021.

Stephan Gug-won Youn

Stephan Youn is a smart metering system expert with a background in electrical engineering and software and system development. He has about 20 years’ experience in AMR/AMI/AMM/SPPM system and also worked as ADB AMI Consultant for the preparation of ADB-funded tender and as Customer’s Project Management Unit Consultant for the implementation of the projects.
