The session highlighted the challenges faced by Korean cities and the corresponding solutions. Yun-seok Jung, Senior Manager at the Transportation Policy Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, provided an overview of Seoul and its intelligent transportation systems (ITS), detailing how the city recovered from the damages brought by the war in the 1950s to the establishment of urban management systems. He also talked about the Seoul Transportation vision that highlights human, sharing, and the environment.
