HaloDAO Protocol is launched by the HaloDAO Foundation, whose founder and Protocol Lead is Jun Ming Yong. Jun has had a lifelong fascination with increasing financial inclusion and has previously worked at Ethereum Venture Studio ConsenSys. Jun developed HaloDao along with Christopher Verceles, who formerly served at ConsenSys blockchain technology solutions. Its purpose was to create Web 3.0 infrastructure to traverse the divide between conventional and decentralized finance.

Emmanuelle joined BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) in 2011 as Investment Specialist in the European Equities Team in Paris. She moved to Hong-Kong in 2012 to work as Investment Specialist specializing on China RMB capabilities and Indonesian equities for international investors.

Ms. Soomi Ro is the Director of Administration, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). She has over 20 years of experience in logistics services, procurement, project management and corporate infrastructure support services with the United Nations as well as the private sector.  Before joining ESCAP, she most recently served as Chief, Technology and Infrastructure Support Services, Procurement Division, Office of Supply Chain Management, Department of Operational Support in New York.

Annella Heytens is the Head of Human Resources, Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) of Amazon Web Services (AWS). She has over 20 years’ experience in human resources and business management experience with increasing levels of responsibility in human capital management, business management, financial analysis, and compensation and benefits. She provides overall vision, strategic and operational human resource leadership to the company.

Tan Bin Ru is the CEO (Southeast Asia) of OneConnect Financial Technology Co. Ltd. (NYSE: OCFT), a leading technology-as-a-service platform for financial institutions. OneConnect is an associate company of Ping An Group which ranks 21st on 2020 Fortune Global 500 and 7th on Forbes 2019 Global 2000. In her role, Bin Ru is responsible for expanding OneConnect’s fintech solutions outside of China.

Paik Wan is responsible for leading and expanding Wise’s presence and growth in APAC. In line with the company’s expansion in the region, her role involves managing the firm’s financial services partnerships, working with central banks and regulators, and focusing on new market entry strategies to enable a better way for millions of customers to send, spend, receive and manage cross-border transactions instantly and at a low cost.

Gustav is responsible for MakerDAO Business Development in Europe. Maker is a front-runner in financial blockchain services globally. Prior to joining the organization, Gustav was a fintech consultant in Argentina. He holds degrees in Business Economics and IT.
