Dr. Saurabh Garg is the Chief Executive Officer of Unique Identification Authority of India. Prior to this he was Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment, Odisha where he worked on digitalizing agriculture and developing a direct income transfer scheme for farmers.

Jonathan Marskell is a Senior Program Officer based in Singapore with the Identification for Development (ID4D) initiative. He is responsible for supporting digital ID and civil registration financing and technical assistance projects in East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, and East Africa, as well as contributing to ID4D’s global thought leadership, convening and advocacy. Before joining ID4D in 2016, he was a consultant on identification, civil registration and vital statistics in the Asia-Pacific region for UNESCAP, UNICEF, UNHCR and IOM, including for five years in Bangkok.

Sol Cummings is a Computer Vision Developer at PASCO Corporation’s AI Solutions Department, where he develops solutions that utilize satellite and aerial imageries. He specializes in developing AI that detects and classifies areas that have changed between several images, which has been utilized for many projects for municipal governments and private companies. He is the recipient of the Beyond Fellowship in the AI for Earth Observation Lab at Technical University of Munich. Mr. Cummings holds a Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in Physical Geography.

Jonghyun Yoon is a Senior Manager at LX, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, a public entity with expertise in land, cadaster, and GIS-related works, land administration and management systems as well as capacity building under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in Korea. He started his career in 2001 as a cadastral surveyor and was also a member of LX’s Research Institute in the area of data acquisition and land administration.

Greg Scott joined the United Nations Statistics Division in 2012 with the specific task of establishing the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) and growing its relevance and status with Member States and related International Organizations involved in national, regional and global geospatial information management. In his role as Secretariat, Greg provides strategic policy advice and leadership, and guides the development, coordination and implementation of the substantive content for the Committee of Experts.

Christoph Aubrecht manages the Global Development Assistance (GDA) program at the European Space Agency (ESA). GDA forms the technical backbone of the ‘Space for International Development Assistance’ (Space for IDA) initiative, jointly implemented with World Bank and Asian Development Bank, and has mobilized more than $100 million in both space and development finance resources dedicated to mainstreaming satellite Earth Observation in development operations.

Bayarmaa Enkhtur pursued her bachelor degree in Geodesy, Mongolia in 2008 and master degree in Geoinformatics in ITC, Netherlands in 2013. Since 2013, She’s been worked in the national mapping agency, Agency for land administration and management, geodesy and cartography (ALAMGC), Mongolia, in charge of NSDI related projects for strengthening national geospatial information management and developing Mongolian NSDI until mid of 2021.

Dr. Katsumi Emura is Executive Vice President and CTO (chief technology officer) of NEC Corporation. He is head of the Intellectual Property Management Division, responsible for all of NEC’s research and intellectual property rights (IPR) management. Since joining NEC as a researcher at the Opto-Electronics Research Laboratories in 1982, Dr. Emura has held numerous leadership positions, including head of product planning and business development for transport products and general manager of NEC’s Research Planning Division. In 2010, Dr.

Tom C. Varghese is the Head of Connectivity and Access Policy for Asia Pacific at Facebook. He works on Facebook’s connectivity initiatives to bring more people online to a faster internet covering policy issues involving infrastructure, spectrum, accessibility, online communication and video service regulations.

Bolor-Erdene Battsengel is the chairwoman of the Government of Mongolia's Communication and Information Technology Authority, the youngest and first female to hold this position. As the youngest leader in the current Cabinet, she crafted the five-year plan to transform Mongolia into a "digital nation." In her first few months, Battsengel launched the "E-Mongolia" platform that digitized 181 popular government services for easy public use. Raised in the countryside herself, Battsengel started the Girls for Coding program to train young girls from rural areas in Mongolia to learn coding.
