Marcus Bartley-Johns

Marcus Bartley Johns is Asia Regional Director for Government Affairs and Public Policy for Microsoft. He works with Microsoft’s teams and the company’s stakeholders across the region to advance public policies for trusted, responsible and inclusive digital transformation. Before joining Microsoft, Mr Bartley Johns worked for the World Bank on digital economy and trade issues, in Singapore and Geneva. He began his career as an Australian diplomat, with assignments in Geneva at the World Trade Organization, and in Bangkok working on regional economic cooperation programs.

Bart Hogeveen

Bart Hogeveen is Head of Cyber Capacity Building at ASPI’s International Cyber Policy Centre (ICPC) and focuses on international peace and security, international aid and national security aspects of cyber affairs. ASPI's cyber capacity building program comprises a range of initiatives that look at supporting states with the development of national cybersecurity strategies, strengthening ICT capabilities in developing nations and enhancing regional mechanisms for stability in cyberspace.

Mary Jo Schrade

Mary Jo Schrade is an Assistant General Counsel and Regional Lead for Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) Asia and is based at Microsoft’s Cyber Security Center in Singapore.  She oversees the initiatives, programs and strategies related to Microsoft Asia’s efforts to prevent or disrupt organized cybercrime and online tech support scams through public-private partnerships, coordinated enforcement, and customer engagements relating to cyber security and Microsoft's digital trust commitment to its customers. 

Jane Treadwell

Jane is the Lead in Government Transformation for the Asia Pacific and Japan region in Amazon Web Services. She has built a career in citizen driven and technology-enabled government transformation spanning state and federal governments in Australia, and international digital development in many countries throughout the world.  Her early roles in public health and then public sector reform led to executive roles where she led large scale whole-of-government and individual agency modernisation programs.

Karan Bhatia

Karan Bhatia is the head of global policy and government relations at Google, where he advises Google’s leadership on policy issues and leads Google’s work with policy makers, government officials, and key political stakeholders in the United States and around the world.

Before joining Google in 2018, Bhatia served as President of GE’s Government Affairs & Policy function, where he oversaw a team of more than 100 government affairs professionals in 35 countries.

Karl Mehta

Karl Mehta is a serial entrepreneur, author, investor, engineer, and civil servant with over 20 years of experience in founding, building, and funding technology companies in the U.S. and international markets. He is currently Founder & CEO of EdCast Inc., a next-generation knowledge platform company and former venture partner at Menlo Ventures, a leading VC firm of Silicon Valley with over $4B under management.

Jean-Michel Baudoin

Jean-Michel Baudoin, a citizen of France, is the Chief Information Officer and General Manager of the Department of Information Technology (ITE) at the Inter-American Development Bank. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Baudoin has worked in the fields of technology, digital transformation and information-management operations, defining and implementing strategic business plans in diverse industries, especially in the field of aerospace and defense and for large industrial consortiums.
