Nino Bregadze

Nino Bregadze brings over eight years of hands-on experience in the development sector to her role. As a dedicated professional, she has made significant contributions in her capacity at one of the strongest regional non-governmental organization, the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN). Within CENN, Nino has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at promoting climate-resilient rural development, sustainable forest management, green growth, and the empowerment of women and youth.

Saima Saleh

Saima Saleh has served in key positions in various government ministries, including the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. She has authored publications on topics such as Pakistan’s Urgent Need for Clean Air (2017) and has conducted a case study titled "Prospects for and Barriers to Domestic Solar Micro-generation: A Case Study of the Domestic Sector of Islamabad.

Rafaella Potestades

Rafaella Potestades is currently the Co-Executive Director for Programs of BAYI, Inc and National Co-Convener of the Philippine Anti-Discrimination Alliance of Youth Leaders (PANTAY). She is part of various gender-transformative programs focused on women's political participation and decision-making, economic empowerment, climate justice, and creative industries.

The ADB CEWG recognizes the need to highlight the human side of our commitment to a circular economy. In partnership with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Bayi Inc., this session showcased more of the social side of addressing plastic pollution and a call for inclusivity in our approaches while we push the boundaries toward innovative solutions.

Nuzhat Nueary

Nuzhat Nueary is a mid-career development professional who has spent the last six years advocating for the rights of climate-affected women and youth. She is currently employed by Oxfam, an organization dedicated to fighting poverty and inequality. In line with her organization's mission, she like to alleviate poverty in climate-affected communities through advocacy and movement building.

Nueary academic specialization is in development studies and natural resource management, which complements my mission to bring justice to Bangladesh's climate-vulnerable women and youth.
