Ms. Hayashi has over fifteen years of experience working at the intersection of environment, health, and development through consulting firms, UNDP, JICA, and international NGOs. Since 2020, she has served as Programme Manager at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), leading integrated solid waste management and circular economy initiatives across Asia and the Pacific.

Shinichiro Fujimori

Shinichiro Fujimori is a professor at Kyoto University, Department of Environmental Engineering. He is also a visiting researcher at NIES and in Energy program at IIASA. Dr. Fujimori’s main fields of scientific interest include integrated assessment modeling in climate change mitigation as well as its impact and adaptation. Furthermore, his model representation covers broader sense of global social/environmental issues and their assessments such as poverty, food security, and biodiversity. Zbigniew Klimont

Zbigniew Klimont is a Research Group Leader of the Pollution Management group in the Energy, Climate and Environment program at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). He is also the head of the Centre for Integrated Assessment Modeleling (CIAM) under the UNECE LRTAP Convention. He has a degree in environmental engineering and has been working on the development and assessment of regional and global emissions of various air pollutants and the mid-term scenarios.

Michael Johnson, PhD: Dr. Johnson is the Technical Director of Berkeley Air Monitoring Group. He works primarily on field-based assessments of household energy projects, including studies on stove performance and usage, indoor air quality, personal exposure, and health impacts.
