Ms. Hayashi has over fifteen years of experience working at the intersection of environment, health, and development through consulting firms, UNDP, JICA, and international NGOs. Since 2020, she has served as Programme Manager at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), leading integrated solid waste management and circular economy initiatives across Asia and the Pacific. She has played a central role in developing the Regional Roadmap to End Open Burning of Waste in Asia and the Methane Reduction Roadmap for the Federated States of Micronesia, with a strong emphasis on implementation pathways, institutional capacity, and city-level action.
