Yuanyuan Deng

Yuanyuan Deng is a CEPAR Senior Research Associate. She is an applied microeconomist with broad empirical interests focusing on Health Economics, Public Economics, and Labor Economics. Her research has been supported by the Michigan Retirement and Disability Research Center (MRDRC) and the Center for Retirement Research (CRR) at Boston College.

Atonu Rabbani

Atonu Rabbani is an applied microeconomist with research interests in health, labor, and organization economics. He has worked extensively on several research areas aiming to understand how knowledge, awareness, perception, monitoring and incentive can motivate human decision making. He has widely published in both national and international peer reviewed journals including The Lancet and American Economic Review. Dr.

Jayash Paudel

Jayash Paudel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Boise State University. His research has appeared in journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Social Science & Medicine, Land Economics, Energy Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics and World Development. Jayash is a fellow at the Global Labor Organization. He is also affiliated with the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences and the Center for Advanced Energy Studies. He previously worked for the World Bank Group and Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).

Ehtisham Ahmad

Professor Ehtisham Ahmad has been Directing a Project on Sustainable Transitions in China and Mexico, at the Grantham Research Institute at the LSE over the past three years. He also worked with the ADB to provide recommendations for consideration for the 14th Five Year Plan. During the past decade, he has been Visiting Professor at the LSE, Pao Yu-Kong Professor at Zhejiang University, Senior Fellow at the Center for Development Research, University of Bonn as well as Senior Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Science/Ministry of Finance Research Institute (2018-21).

Emma Fan

Emma Fan has been with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since 2002. She jointed ADB’s East Asia Department (EARD) as the Director for Public Management, Financial Sector, and Regional Cooperation Division (EAPF) on 29 July 2019. EAPF covers a diverse range of operations, including on public sector management, financial sector development, regional cooperation, public private partnerships, and as EARD’s focal point on nonsovereign operations. 
 

Radhika Lal

Radhika Lal joined UNDP’s Bangkok Regional Hub as SDG finance policy advisor and team lead in December 2019. Prior to this, she served as economic policy advisor with UNDP Ghana; strategic planning advisor for the UN country team in South Africa; senior policy advisor and team co-lead at the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG) in Brazil and as a policy advisor in various capacities with UNDP’s policy bureau in New York.
