Mirzo Iskandar Gulamov

Iskandar Gulamov oversees all country programming and thematic work at the Kazakhstan Resident Mission. He coordinates ADB’s work on new financing modalities and products. Before being posted to Kazakhstan, he worked for more than 10 years in ADB’s Uzbekistan Resident Mission, where he led strategy formulation and programming, economic, and liaison work.

A Mongolian national, she has 37 years experience in planning, processing, and implementing highway projects; working with various international organizations; and overseeing transport and country portfolios in ADB. Before joining ADB, she worked in various government agencies managing a transport sector as Head of Planning and Project Manager for highway projects.

Thomas Herz

Mr. Thomas Herz is a Senior Transport Specialist with the Central West Asia Department. A German national, he has more than 25 years of experience in the transport sector spanning the entire project cycle from project inception, processing, implementation, and asset management. For various institutions, he helped build transport infrastructure and provided technical assistance in support of transport sector improvement in developing and developed countries. He advised Governments or led project teams in USA, Germany, Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia. Mr.
