This presentation provides an overview that includes the development challenges of the Central and West Asia region. It focuses on the lending portfolio of Asian Development Bank (ADB’s) Central and West Asia Department (CWRD), in particular. The integrated urban planning approach and development directions of CWRD’s Urban Development and Water Division are discussed.
