Witoon Tawisook

Witoon Tawisook is a principal transport specialist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with civil engineering background specialized in structures and bridges. He has extensive international work experience in several Asian countries namely Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Philippines. He is currently leading the processing of the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Project, one of the biggest transport infrastructure projects of the Philippines financed by ADB and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

Mr. Thomas Herz is a Senior Transport Specialist with the Central West Asia Department. A German national, he has more than 25 years of experience in the transport sector spanning the entire project cycle from project inception, processing, implementation, and asset management. For various institutions, he helped build transport infrastructure and provided technical assistance in support of transport sector improvement in developing and developed countries. Tsuneyuki Sakai is Unit Head, Project Administration Unit of Transport Sector Office, Sectors Group of ADB – experienced in development and administration of infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on transport sector projects in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific regions, having spent over 23-years in development financing institutions, including 12 years in ADB and 11 years in JBIC/JICA.

James Leather is the Chief of the Transport Sector Group at the Asian Development Bank.
