Bozenna Pasik-Duncan

Bozenna Pasik-Duncan is a Professor of Mathematics, a Courtesy Professor of both EECS and AE, and an ITTC Investigator at the University of Kansas. Her research interests are primarily in stochastic systems and stochastic adaptive control, system identification and estimation, and control education as a field that spans science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.

Mekhala Krishnamurthy

Over the last 15 years, Mekhala’s research, publications, policy and professional engagements have involved work within and across a range of field sites and subjects, including women's courts and dispute resolution, community health workers and public health systems, agriculture and agricultural markets, and water, livelihood security and land acquisition. This has placed her in a variety of roles at the intersections of and in partnerships between academia, public policy, government, the private sector, and grassroots civil society organizations.

Asia-Pacific Judicial Conference on Climate Change Adjudication: Trends and Impacts

The Supreme Court of Fiji (SCF), in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the United Nations Environment Programme, cohosted the Asia-Pacific Judicial Conference on Environmental and Climate Change Adjudication (Conference) on 7-8 October 2019, in Nadi, Fiji under the banner of the Asian Judges Network on Environment (AJNE), the unique judicial association working towards strengthening environmental and climate change adjudication.

Sudarshana Anojan

Sudarshana Anojan is the Social Development and Gender Specialist in ADB’s Sri Lanka Country Office. He carries over 13 years of experience in the international development field; working with diverse non-government, bilateral and multilateral agencies. His area of expertise includes community development, monitoring and evaluation, gender equality and social inclusion, and education.

Nidup Tshering

Nidup Tshering works as a Social Development Consultant (GAD) for ADB in Bhutan. With a background in Development Management, he has been working with ADB for the last twelve years designing and implementing social projects. His recent works include the development of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) Blueprint for Bhutan.

Fiza Farhan

Fiza Farhan is a Pakistan-based entrepreneur and development expert, featured in the US Magazine Forbes “30 Under 30 List of Social Entrepreneurs” for 2015 and again in Forbes Asia List of” 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs in 2016”. She represents Pakistan on the United Nation's Secretary General's first-ever High-Level Panel on Women Economic Empowerment along with global leadership in addition to being the Chairperson of Chief Minister Punjab’s Task Force on Women Empowerment and member of the National Steering Committee on Climate Change for Pakistan.

Yoojung Jang

Yoojung is a Social Development Specialist in South Asia DepartmentofADB and working on energy sector projects in terms of social safeguards and gender. She has 15years of professional experience in environmental and social management. Before joining ADB, she worked for the Export-Import Bank of Korea responsible for private sector projects’ environmental and social due diligence. She holds degrees in Civil and EnvironmentalEngineering and Business Administration from the Seoul National University, Korea and in Environmental Health from the KNOU, Korea.
