“Pak Ojat”, as his friends and colleagues in Indonesia Open University or Universitas Terbuka (UT) refer to Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D., is a simple and down-to-earth person, who is currently serving the Rector of Indonesian Open University or Universitas Terbuka. Upon his inauguration on 26 July 2017, he has officially led Universitas Terbuka (UT) until today.

Prof. Dr. Jekuk Chang has been President of Korea’s Dongseo University since 2013. This University maintains close ties with Lithuania and actively cooperates with Mykolas Romeris University. The two universities have implemented a joint Bachelor’s Degree studies programme and also have established the first King Sejong Institute in the Baltic countries, where it is possible to study Korean and to become more closely acquainted with Korea’s culture and traditions.

Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo is an academic leader and manager, an established researcher, an innovator, an advocate of disaster risk management, an ASEAN engineer, and a full-fledged professor.

Armed with a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering and Doctorate degree in Management, Dr. Ronquillo was appointed President of Batangas State University in July 2014, and was uninamously reappointed for a second term in 2018.

A. Lin Goodwin (葛文林) is the Thomas More Brennan Chair of Education at the Lynch School of Education and Human Development. Prior to joining Boston College, she was Dean of the Faculty(School) of Education at the University of Hong Kong (2017-2022) and Vice Dean at Teachers College, Columbia University (TCCU) in New York (2011-2017), where she also held the Evenden Foundation Chair in Education.

Rukmini Banerji is Chief Executive Officer of Pratham Education Foundation and has been with Pratham since 1996. She became CEO in 2015. Rukmini has extensive experience in program design and implementation and has led many of Pratham’s partnerships with state governments.  Rukmini also led Pratham’s research activities, including the well-known Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) effort from 2005 to 2014. Rukmini was trained as an economist (St. Stephen's College, Delhi School of Economics, Oxford University).

The Honourable Don Pomb Polye hails from Wabag in the Enga Province, within the Kandep Electorate. He did his Primary and High School in the Western Highlands Province from 1975 (Grades 1-6) to 1984 (Grades 7-10). Minister Polye was selected to do his Secondary Education at the Passam National High School in Wewak, East Sepik Province from 1985-1986. He then proceeded on to PNG’s University of Technology (Unitech) for his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering which he completed in 1990.

Fernando Reimers is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Education and Director of the Global Education Innovation Initiative at Harvard University. An elected member of both the US National Academy of Education and the International Academy of Education, he is a leading authority in Global Education. His research centers on preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century and has influenced education policy and practice worldwide. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Reimers led studies to explore the educational impact and strategies for recovery.
