Mr. Syed Sardar Ali Shah is a seasoned parliamentarian of Sindh and currently holds the portfolio of School Education, College Education, and Mines & Mineral Development in the Government of Sindh. He has remained Minister for Education, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department during the 2016-2023 of the provincial Government of Sindh. He has very strong academic background with a degree in Law, he also possesses a degree of B.E Civil engineering and a Master's in Sociology.

Gardenia Aisek serves as the Secretary of Education for the Federated States of Micronesia, first appointed in 2021 and reappointed in 2024. As the first woman to hold this position, she leads national education policy with a focus on unity and inclusivity. Her previous roles include Senator in the Chuuk State Legislature, Director of Education for the Chuuk State School System, and instructor at the College of Micronesia-FSM and Northern Marianas College. She has served on the COM-FSM Board of Regents and the Chuuk Board of Education.

Shanti Jagannathan is Director, Education, with ADB and has over 30 years of experience in international cooperation programs in school education, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and higher education. She leads education policy and strategy work, providing support to ADB’s technical assistance programs and lending operations in education. Her work engagements have been in over 30 countries in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and North America.

Secretary Sonny Angara has served more than two decades in public service—nine years as a congressman representing the Province of Aurora and eleven years as a senator. 

Dr. Harini Amarasuriya was appointed the 17th Prime Minister of Sri Lanka on 18 November 2024 and also oversees the nation’s education portfolio. A scholar and social activist, she has long worked at the nexus of academia, public policy and social development. Before entering government, she served as a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the Open University of Sri Lanka and contributed to national policy forums, including the University Grants Commission’s Standing Committee on Gender Equality and Social Equity.

Fauzan Adziman serves as a senior official at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, where he contributes to national strategies that strengthen higher education quality, research innovation, and workforce development. He plays a key role in advancing science, technology, and innovation (STI) initiatives, fostering partnerships between government, industry, and academic institutions.

Nasimjon Karimzoda serves as the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, where he leads key initiatives on workforce development, labor policy, and the management of labor migration systems. With extensive experience in public administration and social sector leadership, he has played a central role in advancing national employment strategies, improving labor mobility frameworks, and strengthening support services for migrant workers.

Mrs. Khushboo Goel Chowdhary is an officer belonging to 2008 batch of the Indian Administration Services. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University; Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Hon. Simil Johnson Youse is an experienced public servant with over 30 years of distinguished service in the Vanuatu Government. He began his career as the Government Statistician, where he played a key role in strengthening national data systems and evidence-based policy development. From 2020 to 2022, he served as Chairman of the Public Service Commission, leading major reforms to enhance transparency, efficiency, and performance across the public sector.  In 2024, Hon.

Dr. Shirley Agrupis is the Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines, appointed in May 2025. A multi-awarded academician and researcher, she previously served as the president of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU). Her expertise lies in plant-based innovations and renewable energy, and she is known for spearheading the National Bioenergy Research and Innovation Center at MMSU. Dr. Agrupis also leads the UniFAST Board, overseeing the implementation of the free higher education law.
