Syed Sardar Ali Shah

Mr. Syed Sardar Ali Shah is a seasoned parliamentarian of Sindh and currently holds the portfolio of School Education, College Education, and Mines & Mineral Development in the Government of Sindh. He has remained Minister for Education, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department during the 2016-2023 of the provincial Government of Sindh. He has very strong academic background with a degree in Law, he also possesses a degree of B.E Civil engineering and a Master's in Sociology. He was elected as Member Provincial Assembly of Sindh in 2013 for the first time and has been victorious for three times consecutively in general elections of Pakistan held in 2018 and 2024 from Umerkot District. He is amongst a few parliamentarians who got Minister Slot in their very first term after being elected in Pakistan. Mr. Shah is widely known for his passionate and motivational speeches at the floor of Provincial Assembly by blending history and politics with the contemporary lives and time. Besides being a politician, he has very diversified profile which includes a very well known livestock farmer and also known for his pen work as renowned poet and columnist, and has great insight on contemporary affairs
