Yuli graduated from Purdue University with a masters degree in 2009. He worked in Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning since 2009, and specialized in technology and policy of water pollution control. He led multiple research projects for the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, ADB, and local government in PRC.

Jigisha is an engineer planner with more than six years of experience in the WASH sector. She is a Senior Research Associate at Center for Water and Sanitation (CWAS), CEPT University, India. She supports urban sanitation related activities at state level and city level. She has worked on projects focusing on sustainable urban water management and water security. She also works on state government and local government level finances. She is a civil engineer and has done her post-graduation in Urban Planning from CEPT University.

Suparana is an Assistant Professor in the School of Livelihoods and Development at TISS Hyderabad campus. She is engaged in teaching interdisciplinary courses on climate change, conservation and development.

Prior to being associated with TISS Hyderabad, she was engaged in research on environmental and developmental issues in India with The Energy and Resources Institute, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, and IIT Delhi, and International RiverFoundation.

Gitta works as a national researcher at the International Water Management Institute in Nepal. She is academically trained in human geography from India, Nepal, and Europe. She has worked extensively as a researcher and gender specialist for the past 15 years in Nepal and India.

Shiva joined ADB in 2012 and supports the design and implementation of urban development, water supply and sanitation projects in Nepal. His prior ADB experience include working with government and NGOs and planning, designing, and implementing water supply and sanitation projects.

Dr. Yasuda is a Senior network & transboundary water cooperation specialist at Global Water Partnership. She supports GWP’s operations in Asia region, and also leads GWP’s thematic work on transboundary water. She is the lead faculty of the Massive Open Online Course on Governance Transboundary Freshwater Security (hosted by SDG academy), designed and directed the production of the course.

Gary has 30 years experience in the water industry, with 28 of those years whilst working in South-East Asia. During this period he has gained member status of the CIWEM (UK), is a Chartered Engineer, has gained a Graduate Diploma in International Operational Management and is the current Secretary of the IWA Water Loss Specialist Group.
