Steve Blaik is a Principal Urban Development Specialist with ADB’s Pacific Department. He is a civil engineer by trade and spent most of his 37-year career working on urban and water sector activities in the Pacific including the past 17 years as ADB staff.

Mr. White is a civil/environmental engineer with 37 years of professional experience in the water and urban development sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Master’s degree in water and waste engineering. He has been based in Southeast Asia for 29 years and has worked full-time in the development sector since 1997. Before joining the Asian Development Bank in 2009, Mr.

Prior to joining ADB in 2009, Atsushi Kaneko was Director and Chief Representative at the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Chief Representative at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, and Engineer at Pacific Consultants International.
