Zairil Khir Johari

Zairil Khir Johari is the State Executive Councilor for Infrastructure and Transport in the Penang State Government. He is also the State Assemblyman for Tanjong Bunga, a seat he won in the 14th General Election in 2018. From 2013 to 2018, Zairil was the Member of Parliament for Bukit Bendera, during which he was also the Democratic Action Party’s Parliamentary Spokesperson for Education, Science, and Technology.

Mochamad Ridwan Kamil

Mochamad Ridwan Kamil, ST. MUD is the Mayor of Bandung from 2013 to 2018. He is an architect, lecturer, and social activist. He graduated with an architecture degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology and received his master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. After finishing his master’s program, he worked for several firms in the US. Over the years, he has worked on 50 architecture and urban design projects in the US, Middle East, and Asia. His architecture firm has won more than 20 competitions and awards nationally and internationally.

Ing Kantha Phavi

Since 2004, Ing Kantha Phavi, has been serving as the Minister for Women’s Affairs, where she is responsible for its management and leadership. In addition to her ministerial post, she has been the Chairwoman of the Cambodian National Council for Women since 2004. Prior to becoming Minister, Dr. Phavi served for 5 years as Secretary of State of Women’s and Veterans’ Affairs.

Susanne Becken

Susanne Becken is a Professor of Sustainable Tourism at Griffith University in Australia and the Principal Science Investment Advisor (Visitor) in the Department of Conservation, New Zealand.

She is also a Vice-Chancellor Research Fellow at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.

Susanne is a member of the Air New Zealand Sustainability Advisory Panel, a Fellow of the International Academy of the Study of Tourism, and the 2019 UNWTO Ulysses Award winner.

Montira Horayangura Unakul

Montira Horayangura Unakul is a culture program officer at UNESCO Bangkok. She has managed various UNESCO programs within the Asia-Pacific region related to the safeguarding and sustainable development of cultural heritage, with a focus on world heritage. She has developed capacity-building programs, such as reviving traditional knowledge for conserving built heritage, sustainable heritage tourism, and collections management.

Chompan Kulnides

Chompan Kulnides is the Head of Sustainability at Minor International PCL and Vice-President of Investments and Sustainability at Minor Holdings (Thai) Ltd. She is responsible for developing and driving Minor International’s sustainability strategy, long-term goals, and practices in alignment with business strategy, stakeholders’ needs, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is responsible for the private investments of the founder of Minor International PCL and the Heinecke Foundation.

Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes

Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes came aboard in 1988 to engage in organizing various marketing and promotional activities at the Department of Marketing of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).

In 1998, she became Deputy Director, carrying on her dedication to destination marketing, and was appointed as MGTO Director in December 2012. She received the Medal of Merit—Tourism from the Macao SAR Government in 2016.
