Jean-Christophe Allo

With a degree in engineering – management and energy projects - and a post-master degree in ocean energy, Jean-Christophe is involved in tidal energy since 2010. He joined SABELLA in 2012 to manage the D10 project and increase the notoriety of the company both in France and abroad. He then moved to business development, strategy, and public relation. Today, Jean-Christophe is the head of business development for SABELLA, promoting tidal energy solutions worldwide.

James Symons

James Symons is Vice President for Business Development, APAC for Zero Mass Water. Zero Mass Water is the manufacturer of SOURCE Hydropanels, a completely off-grid, infrastructure-free system that produces water from sunlight and air.

James has worked in a variety of business development roles in Asia since 2007 and has lived in Malaysia, Indonesia, the People's Republic of China, and Vietnam.

Iñaki Pérez

Iñaki Perez is Mott MacDonald’s Solar Energy Practice Leader for the Asia Pacific region. He supports the growth and delivery of Mott MacDonald’s solar business regionally and the continued strengthening of the company’s global solar capability. His work is focused on technical advisory services for developers, lenders, technology providers and utilities. Acting as project manager or project director, he has contributed to thousands of MWs of solar projects globally.

Ilya Chernyakhovskiy

Ilya Chernyakhovskiy is the project lead and co-author for USAID’s Greening the Grid platform under the USAID-NREL partnership. He leads grid integration analysis and capacity building efforts in Central Asia countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, under USAID/Central Asia’s Power the Future program. Ilya is also part of the core modeling team for NREL’s grid integration studies in India. Prior to joining NREL, Ilya was a researcher in economic development at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. He holds an M.Sc.

Hemant Nandanpawar

Hemant is a Clean Energy, Climate Change and Sustainable Development expert, working as Senior Director, Advisory Services of Ernst & Young in Manila, Philippines. He is supporting EY Asian countries for development and implementation of assignments/projects Clean Energy, Climate change, sustainability, and sustainable development sector.

Harold Meurisse

Harold Meurisse has been working actively on the Floating Solar sector for the past 7 years. Since he joined Ciel & Terre, the pioneer and world leader for floating solar applications, he contributed to open new markets especially by developing the activities of the company in South America with the main focus on Brazil and then, in South East Asia. Following the first successes and projects installed by Ciel & Terre in Malaysia and Singapore in 2015 and 2016, he has been fully dedicated to the ASEAN countries while he set up the Regional Office in Malaysia in May 2017.

Harald van Hoeken

Harald van Hoeken, a Dutch citizen, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering as well as Ocean Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. van Hoeken has 25 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, and for the past 5 years has been working in developing floating solar projects. He has spent nearly 20 years of his career living and working in Nigeria, and Africa in general.

In early 2019, he joined the Oceans of Energy management team as Director and leads the business development and commercial teams.

Gary Zieff

Gary Zieff is an accomplished renewable energy expert with over 18 years’ experience in emerging and established energy markets. He is currently based in Viet Nam serving as Principal Energy Advisor with USAID’s Viet Nam Low Emission Energy Program. He works with GVN on the DPPA policy design, pilot program implementation and private sector investors supporting access to financing and development expertise. Gary brings cross-functional development experience to V-LEEP through prior work in the US, Caribbean, East Africa, and Eastern Europe.

Frank Haugwitz

Frank Haugwitz is an independent solar energy consultant known for his insights into the workings of the solar market in the People's Republic of China (PRC). He advises foreign entities on solar market developments across Asia in general and the PRC in particular. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and is Intersolar’s head of global conference development since 2010. He served three years as the elected Vice-Chairman of the Renewable Energy Working Group of the European Chamber of Commerce in the PRC between 2014 to 2016.
