Francisco Moreno Velo

Francisco Moreno Velo is currently the Head of Business Development at ACCIONA Southeast Asia Infrastructure. Francisco (Paco) has extensive experience in designing and delivering diverse civil infrastructure projects, such as viaducts, highways, ports, airports, oil and gas, and industrial warehousing. During his career, Paco has worked at OHL Group, as Latin America Director and Asia Pacific Director, amongst other international appointments.

Altaf Iqbal

Dr. Altaf Iqbal is an economist with over 35 years of international consulting experience across diverse projects, including agriculture, water management, and infrastructure development. He has excelled in developing policies, conducting institutional reforms, and performing economic evaluations. His expertise extends to cost analysis, investment budgets, planning, training, feasibility studies, socio economic surveys, pricing models, and area development studies.

Srijana Bhattarai

Srijana is a Senior Social Safeguards Advisor at the USAID and Australia Mekong Safeguards Program, implemented by the Asia Foundation. As a social practitioner, she has worked in various sectors with diverse communities leading community engagements, social impact assessments, resettlement and livelihood restoration planning and designing benefit sharing mechanisms.

She brings extensive field experience and best practices to the Mekong Safeguards Program which aims to strengthen environmental and social performance in infrastructure development in the Mekong subregion.

Kanupriya Gupta

Kanupriya Gupta is an economist at the Public Management, Financial Sector, and Trade Division of the South Asia Department. Her work focuses on strengthening micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises; infrastructure development; skills development; social protection; and enhancing labour productivity for poverty reduction in India. She completed her doctorate degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
