Donghee Han

Dr. Han is one of the leading gerontologists in Korea and Director of the Research Institute of Science for the Better Living of the Elderly (RISBLE) where she has developed many programs for older people over the past 18 years. She is also the Head of Commission of Elderly Policy in Busan Metropolitan City Government. Her work has been officially recognized both at local and governmental levels. Her latest award was the Mayor’s Prize for her many initiatives to improve the lives of seniors in Busan, Korea’s second largest urban hub.

Yuanyuan Fu

Yuanyuan Fu is an associate professor in the School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University. She is also a research fellow of Sau Po Centre on Ageing, The University of Hong Kong. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, The University of Hong Kong. Her research field is gerontology, and her research focuses on long-term care, active aging, physical and mental health in later life, and intergenerational relationships, and emphasizes the implication for practice and policy.

Janice Chia

Influenced by the changing needs of her elders, Janice was inspired to start Ageing Asia to drive and nurture opportunities and the development of innovation and solutions that address the evolving needs of the rising ageing population in the region. Having accumulated a vast experience from visiting over 400 residential and aged care homes from over 15 countries since starting her practice in 2009, Janice has been actively involved in consulting organizations seeking global best practices in housing, health and care models that can be translated for the Asian market.

Deanna Olney

Deanna Olney has a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology from the University of California Davis with a designated emphasis in International Nutrition and minors in Statistics and Epidemiology. Currently, Deanna is a Senior Research Fellow and a theme co-leader for Nutrition-Sensitive Programs in IFPRI’s Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division. She has co-led a number of comprehensive evaluations of nutrition-sensitive programs to examine what impacts integrated programs have on maternal and child health, nutrition, and well-being outcomes, how impacts are achieved, and in some cases, at what cost.

Viktor Nestulia

Before joining the Open Contracting Partnership, Viktor was acting CEO at SOE Medical Procurement of Ukraine – the central purchasing body set up by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for medical public procurement. Between 2015-2018 he was a Program Director at Transparency International Ukraine. His portfolio included five significant initiatives – ProZorro, ProZorro.Sale systems development, DOZORRO community building, e-Health system development, and Construction Sector Transparency Initiative implementation.  He has experience in the private sector and in government.

Tim Benton

Professor Tim G. Benton leads the Environment and Society Programme at Chatham House. He joined Chatham House in 2016 as a distinguished visiting fellow, at which time he was also dean of strategic research initiatives at the University of Leeds.

From 2011-2016 he was the ‘champion’ of the UK’s Global Food Security programme which was a multi-agency partnership of the UK’s public bodies (government departments, devolved governments and research councils) with an interest in the challenges around food.
