Rosemary Ong

Ms. Ong is a national of the Philippines. Ms. Ong has developed Thought Leadership materials on PPP and Privatization. She obtained her Master’s degree in Business Management from Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines and eared her Certificate in Finance from ESADE Business School, Spain; and Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines, Quezon City.

Iwan Syahril

Iwan Syahril is the Director General for Teachers and Education Personnel at the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. He oversees the management, recruitment, and professional development of around 3 million teachers in Indonesia. Prior to taking up the position in 2020, he was the Dean of Faculty of Education at Sampoerna University. DG Syahril has two doctorate degrees from Michigan State University, two masters degrees from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree from Universitas Padjajaran.

Daniel Suryadarma

Daniel conducts applied economics research in the areas of education, labor, poverty, and social policy. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, such as American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, and Journal of Development Economics. His research has informed policy discussions at the Indonesian Vice President’s Office, Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, and various international organizations and donor agencies.

Janine Teo

Janine Teo is the CEO of Solve Education!, an education technology not-for-profit with the mission of delivering quality education to everyone, focusing on the BOP (Bottom of Pyramid) demographic. She is the first Asian to receive the International Intellectual Benefits to Society Award by Mensa International. Janine is also a member of the ADB Digital Technology for Development advisory group, and a fellow of the University of Pennsylvania - Global Social Impact House.
