Indigenous Peoples' Development, Diversity, and Inclusion: Emerging and Ongoing Issues in Asia-Pacific - A Webinar Series
ADB's Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department (SDCC) launched a Webinar Series on Indigenous Peoples’ issues. This initiative is an attempt to put a spotlight on Indigenous Peoples' development concerns and their core priorities, such as participation, equality, and environmental sustainability.
The learning objectives of these webinars are to build awareness and understanding on the following linkages and themes:
- Indigenous Peoples' perception and priorities in development processes
- Indigenous Peoples' health and the COVID-19 pandemic
- Indigenous Peoples' inclusion and Sustainable Development Goals
- Indigenous Peoples and the environment – need for synergy
- Indigenous Peoples and climate change challenges

- Indigenous Peoples' conflict and fragile situations and forced migration
The Series also had four webinars specific to Indigenous Peoples' safeguards:
- On Independent Evaluation Department’s evaluation of ADB’s Safeguard Policy implementation
