Laxmi Sharma is the Unit Head of Project Administration, Water and Urban Development Sector Office at Asian Development Bank. An engineer with over 25 years of experience in integrated urban planning and development, water and sanitation, solid waste management, inclusive city development, urban transport sector, and infrastructure and service financing models, she is skilled in multi-stakeholder driven development; project design, processing, and management; and application of technologies. She has strategic and field-level knowledge in urban development, water and sanitation sector. She leads Solid Waste Management Community of Practice. She has multi-cultural working experience in multiple countries—Georgia, India, Kyrgyz Republic, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, and Thailand.
